The Sand and the Sea

a long time ago there was only sand on earth.

the sand was dry but enjoyed when rain fell on it and cooled it off.

theres no one here but me said the lonely sand, it would be fun if someone
walked on me so i wouldnt be alone.

but everyday it was the same, only sand was seen.

the sand was very large and covered alot of ground,
theres alot of room for other things to live here thought the sand to itself
but no one showed up.

the sand wish it could cry cause it was so lonely but the sand carried no tears,
there was no one on the ground to be with the sand,
the sand looked up toward the sky and wished the sky could help it.

suddenly it started raining hard, and it rained for months, the sand was cold and wet, it closed its eyes so water wouldnt get in.
finally it stoped raining, the sand opened its eyes
it was surrised to see a large blue ocean in front of it.
the rain had created the sea.
soon there were fish in the water, boats sailing on the sea, people walking on sand to go swimming, others lying on sand to get a tan, children were playing, building sand castles. the sand was happy at last.

it was glad to know if you wish hard enough for something you might get it

the sand and the sea
one dry one wet
they balance the world
and thats why they met
